Mock Trial Competition Team (Fall 2026)

Time: Prosecution @2-3pm; Defense @3-4pm

This five-session program is designed for students who are excited to dig deeper into a case, develop real competition skills, and work as part of a competitive team. Students will be divided into small prosecution and defense teams and spend four sessions preparing a complete mock trial before facing off in a final competition.

With a 6:1 student-to-instructor ratio, every student will have a substantial role and receive individualized coaching. Students will learn to analyze evidence, develop a case theory, deliver persuasive opening and closing statements, conduct direct and cross-examinations, prepare witnesses, and respond to what happens in the courtroom.

Unlike our introductory workshops, this program requires consistent attendance, preparation, teamwork, and enthusiastic participation. Students will work with the same case and teammates throughout the program, allowing them to build their skills from week to week rather than starting over each session.

Sessions 1–4: Case preparation, trial strategy, attorney and witness coaching, and practice
Session 5: Full Mock Trial Competition

This program is intended for committed mock trial students ages 9–11 who are self-motivated, eager to be coached, and excited to compete.
